The Hong Kong airport’s long-awaited reopening of Terminal 2 will begin later this month, with several airlines set to relocate their check-in operations from Terminal 1 as part of expansion plans linked to the three-runway system.

The phased move, starting on May 27, will mainly involve regional and low-cost carriers, including HK Express and AirAsia group airlines.
