People Fleeing, Nation Doomed! CCP Tightens Passport Policy to Stop Citizens ‘Running’

Once the economic powerhouse of China and a vibrant metropolis, Shanghai attracted elites from around the world and was a leading city for expatriates to work and settle in. However, as China’s economy declined in recent years, Shanghai could also not escape this fate. Foreigners are becoming increasingly unwilling to come to Shanghai. Malls, streets, and airports are all experiencing a downturn. Some people juxtaposed scenes of the bustling Pudong Airport at midnight a few years ago with the desolate airport lobby now, highlighting a stark contrast. Another person uploaded a video of the empty lobby at Pudong Airport, saying, “In just three years, it’s like two different worlds. Pudong International Airport’s quietness is unexpected. There are just a few scattered people, closed service counters, and some lights off in the satellite terminal, a bit nostalgic of the bustling time it once was.”
