Tensions between the U.S. and Iran have escalated once again. On April 19, the U.S. intercepted a cargo ship, the “Touska,” which was heading from China to an Iranian port. Despite six hours of warnings from the U.S. military, the ship refused to comply. As a result, the U.S. fired at the ship’s cabin with naval guns, crippling its propulsion system and eventually seizing the vessel.
