Tensions in the Strait of Hormuz escalate again! On May 4, a large oil tanker, “JV INNOVATION,” owned by a Chinese shipping company, was attacked near the entrance to the Strait of Hormuz. The deck caught fire, and thick smoke billowed from the ship. With its cargo of highly flammable refined oil, the ship was at extreme risk of explosion.
