China and the Philippines continue to clash in the South China Sea. China’s official media, CGTN, released a video on June 2, showing the Philippines on May 19 airdropping supplies to BRP Sierra Madre, a military vessel that is “grounded” at Second Thomas Shoal. The Chinese report said that when the Chinese Marine Police responded, they found at least two officers on board the ship moving around on the deck with guns and pointing their hands and guns at China Coast Guard officers.
