Hong Kong is rolling out freebies and discounts on transport and dining, along with other incentives, to mark its 27th anniversary of the return to Chinese rule on July 1.
Community groups are also helping the government’s efforts to promote the day by holding a variety of celebratory events, including cultural shows, singing performances, neighbourhood carnivals and a dessert bazaar.

The Fullerton Ocean Park Hotel is offering 29 per cent off at all restaurants and lounges from June 28 to July 7
Cha chaan teng chain Tai Hing is offering 29 per cent off its entire menu at all branches, except at the airport on July 1
