Public Radio Leak Exposes China’s Navy’s Fatal Flaw——Radar Is Blind

A recent audio clip, exposed by Taiwan’s Liberty Times, has raised eyebrows due to its unexpected content. The recording features a Chinese military ship on the open sea, engaging in a conversation with a nearby civilian vessel over a public radio channel. In the exchange, the military ship asks the civilian vessel for help in identifying another ship nearby, about 1.4 nautical miles away, or roughly 2.6 kilometers. The exact request was: “Excuse me, can you confirm whether the ship to your left, 1.4 miles to the north, is a government ship or a coast guard vessel?”
