One-Fifth of Civil Servants Unpaid? Is China Going Bankrupt?

Under the rule of the CCP, coupled with three years of mandatory pandemic prevention and control, China’s economy has sharply deteriorated. Major enterprises and the real estate industry have gone bankrupt one after another, foreign capital has withdrawn, youth unemployment rates have soared, and local governments, apart from issuing bonds and asking for money from higher authorities, have seen a significant reduction in fiscal revenue. There has been a wave of salary reductions for civil servants across the country. Almost all formal employment benefits have decreased. Whether teachers, doctors, or civil servants, they are facing salary cuts or even delayed payments.
