Zhao Lin, a Health Education Expert at China’s Health Ministry, once exposed a large starch factory in Heze. Zhao Lin witnessed a machine in the factory spraying a yellowish powdered vegetable fat, used in coffee creamer, containing hydrogenated oil and pre-mixed flavorings.
It turns out that these additives were purchased by the largest dairy factory in Inner Mongolia, aiming to increase the viscosity of milk. Zhao is concerned that due to the huge demand for milk, many dairy factories add additives to enhance its taste.
