NetEase did not describe this as a supply cutoff by Japan. Instead, it claimed that major display manufacturers and semiconductor foundries in China are actively using up existing inventory. However, it also revealed that China had already banned exports of high-purity gallium and germanium to Japan for two consecutive months.
