All the core components of the C919 are purchased from the Western countries, the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) cannot produce them on its own. The aircraft has not yet obtained airworthiness certification from the US and EU, It can only fly domestically. Plus, it has to be labeled as “experimental” so it is a semi-finished product. So, lining it up next to the big boys, Boeing and Airbus, let’s just say it’s not even in the same league.
