On the afternoon of April 11th, an electric vehicle in Guangdong province caught fire while parked on the roadside. Videos uploaded by netizens depict thick smoke coming from the vehicle’s chassis, followed by a sudden eruption of flames from the bottom battery compartment that engulfed the entire vehicle. Another angle of the video reveals the vehicle was a LeapMotor C11, a SUV model under the LeapMotor Automobile brand.
