Former Governor of South Carolina Endorses Ralph Norman Over Darline Graham

WASHINGTON—More lines have been drawn in the South Carolina special primary to replace the late Lindsey Graham as the Republican Senate nominee.
Former South Carolina Gov. Mark Sanford, who came in fourth in the Aug. 11 primary, has thrown his weight behind Rep. Ralph Norman (R-S.C.) instead of Sen. Darline Graham (R-S.C.).
Sanford, who previously suggested he might not endorse a candidate, aired his opinion on Aug. 21, just days ahead of the Aug. 25 runoff election and hours before President Donald Trump is set to rally for Graham in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.
Early voting in the contest also ends on Aug. 21….
