Shocking! Worse Than India? People In China Swim Through Garbage, Medical Waste Pollutes Water

On August 12, a Chinese environmental blogger posted a video claiming that he found large amounts of trash piled up along the downstream area and banks of a reservoir near a backup drinking water source in Fuxin, Liaoning Province. He described the scene as a “sea of garbage.”
The video shows huge amounts of waste along the shoreline. Besides common household garbage, there were also what appeared to be pesticide bottles, IV bags, glass bottles, and medical waste that had not been completely burned.
The blogger said some medical waste found at the site, including glucose injection bottles, had production dates from 2024 and 2025. He also claimed that some packaging showed signs of having labels and batch numbers torn off or burned.
