U.S. President Donald Trump could host Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu at the White House as early as next week, Trump said in an interview with Axios on July 4.
Trump told Axios that Netanyahu asked him for the meeting. The president said he could make time for such a visit after returning from the NATO summit in Turkey, which will take place on July 7 and July 8.
In a statement, Netanyahu’s office confirmed that the two leaders spoke on July 3 and that they agreed to meet in the United States in the near future but did not specify a more precise timeline….
