Chinese Coast Guard Collides with Own Warship in Philippines, Head Explodes! Military in Chaos

According to Philippine media, the incident occurred near Huangyan Island while the Chinese Coast Guard vessel 3104 was chasing a Philippine Coast Guard vessel. The 3104 accidentally collided with the Chinese Navy’s destroyer 164. The Philippine Coast Guard immediately offered assistance.
Jay Tarriela, a spokesperson for the Philippine Coast Guard in the West Philippine Sea, said the incident took place about 10.5 nautical miles east of Huangyan Island. The two vessels involved were the Chinese Navy’s 164 and the Chinese Coast Guard’s 3104.
