A petite Japanese woman, standing at just 1.46 metres tall, has been driving trucks for six years in a bold effort to challenge workplace stereotypes.

Known only as Kana, this 27-year-old has been a long-haul truck driver for the past six years, inspiring young adults to explore careers in the logistics industry and igniting widespread discussions online.
Kana also runs a YouTube channel named “Track Girl Kanachannel,” which has amassed over 245,000 followers.
Since 2020, she has consistently shared videos documenting her experiences in the trucking industry, offering insights into her daily work and behind-the-scenes glimpses of Japan’s logistics sector.

In secondary school, she was a member of the football team and worked part-time in moving services and logistics warehouses. This experience allowed her to engage extensively with truck drivers and gain valuable insights into the industry.

Though she initially enrolled in professional beauty school after graduation, Kana soon realised that complex working environments were not for her. She preferred physically demanding jobs that offered a more independent and free lifestyle.
