The newly promoted general Chen Hui (陳輝) was the first political commissar of the military’s space force. Official reports indicate he recently assumed the role of Army political commissar. However, media outlets noted that the former Army political commissar, General Qin Shutong (秦樹桐), was absent without explanation. Army Commander Li Qiaoming (李橋銘) was also not seen in the official footage.
