A 61-year-old worker has died after falling from a height of at least three metres (10 feet) at a Hong Kong construction site.

Police said they received a report at 1.14pm on Friday that the man fell from about three to four metres at the site, located at the juncture of Pat Tsz Wo Street and Tsung Tau Ha Road in Fo Tan in Sha Tin.
The man was certified dead at the scene by emergency personnel, the force said.
The case has been classified as an industrial accident.
The Labour Department said it had immediately sent staff to the scene and was investigating the cause of the accident.

On Monday, a 58-year-old worker fell from a ladder in Happy Valley. He later died in hospital.
