Chinese people in their late 50s and 60s now, were born during China’s cultural revolution, which was a time that completely turned Chinese culture, behavior and traditions upside down. Kids were turned into red guards and brainwashed to destroy their teachers and parents, emotionally and even physically. And now they’ve grown up, and grown old, and we’re seeing the results of that awful human experiment in Chinese society.
