On the afternoon of June 24, a man wielding a knife attacked the school bus of a Japanese school in Suzhou, injuring a Chinese woman severely, and wounding a Japanese woman and her child. This incident is the second malicious attack on foreigners in China within two weeks, following the knife attack on four American scholars in Jilin by a Chinese man.
