Hong Kong will have a warm week ahead before the arrival of another cold front over the weekend, when the temperature is expected to plunge to as low as 15 degrees Celsius (59 Fahrenheit), according to the Observatory.
The temperatures will register between 18 and 26 degrees from Monday to Friday, before beginning to fall on Sunday.
“The easterly airstream now affecting the coast of Guangdong will moderate gradually and will be replaced by a maritime airstream in the next couple of days. It will be warm during the day over the region,” the forecaster said on Monday, adding it would be humid and foggy in the middle and latter parts of the week.
“A cold front is expected to move across southern China on Saturday and bring showers to the region. Under the influence of the associated dry northeast monsoon, it will become cool.”

The mercury is expected to drop to as low as 15 degrees on Sunday, and further to 14 degrees the next day, before gradually going up next week with sunny periods.
