The weather in Hong Kong will get warm and foggy on Sunday before it cools off with showers and thunderstorms midweek, the forecaster has said.

The latest forecast from the Hong Kong Observatory showed that the city’s relative humidity could go up to 100 per cent over the weekend, while the temperatures might range between 20 and 25 degrees Celsius (68 and 77 Fahrenheit).

“A warm and humid maritime airstream will affect the coast of Guangdong in the next couple of days,” the Observatory said on Saturday.

“There will be damp days over the region. The weather will be foggy in the morning and at night.”
