Vance to Appear on ‘Joe Rogan Experience’ Podcast

Following Trump’s appearance on the popular podcast, the vice presidential candidate is scheduled to be interviewed Wednesday.

Sen. JD Vance (R-Ohio) will appear on “The Joe Rogan Experience” soon, according to a spokesman for former President Donald Trump’s running mate.

On Oct. 30, Vance will head to Austin, Texas, to tape an episode of the podcast with host Joe Rogan, a spokesman told The Epoch Times. The appearance will occur within days of Trump’s three-hour interview on the popular program.

According to YouTube metrics collected on Oct. 29, the episode featuring Trump had more than 38 million views in less than a week.

It is unclear when exactly Vance will sit down with Rogan on Wednesday and how quickly the interview will be published. The recording of Trump’s interview was published that same day.

As of press time, Rogan hadn’t posted anything about an interview with Vance on social media. His latest posts have focused on his version of events surrounding a potential interview with Vice President Kamala Harris.

On X, Rogan said the campaign for the Democratic Party’s presidential nominee pitched a Tuesday, Oct. 29, interview but attached the conditions that Rogan would need to come to her and that Harris would be available only for an hour.

“I strongly feel the best way to do it is in the studio in Austin,” Rogan said on X on Oct. 28. “My sincere wish is to just have a nice conversation and get to know her as a human being.”

A spokesman for the Harris campaign previously told the press that Harris would not be able to accept an invitation to appear on podcast because of “scheduling of this period of the campaign.”

With the Nov. 5 general election now just a week away, both campaigns are rallying heavily through the battleground states.

According to the Trump campaign website, Vance made two appearances in Michigan on Oct. 29. In the morning, he was in Saginaw, where Vice President Kamala Harris appeared less than 24 hours prior. In the afternoon, he spoke in Holland.

Vance is scheduled to speak in Bedford, Pennsylvania, on the afternoon of Oct. 30.

According to the current publicly available schedule, Trump will travel to Allentown, Pennsylvania; Rocky Mount, North Carolina; Green Bay, Wisconsin; Albuquerque, New Mexico; Henderson, Nevada; Milwaukee; and Salem, Virginia, over the next week.

Harris is set to deliver an address on The Ellipse near the White House and the National Mall on Wednesday evening. She is expected to deliver her campaign “closing argument” to Americans. On Jan. 6, 2021, Trump spoke at the same spot ahead of the Capitol breach.

On Oct. 29, Harris campaigned in Michigan while her running mate, Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz, visited Wisconsin. On Oct. 30, Walz is in Savannah, Georgia, while former First Lady Michelle Obama is scheduled to speak in College Park, Georgia, on Harris’s behalf.

On Oct. 30, Harris is expected to campaign in Pennsylvania and Wisconsin, while Walz will do the same in North Carolina.
