President Donald Trump said on March 13 that the United States “totally obliterated” all military targets on Iran’s Kharg Island.
“Moments ago, at my direction, the United States Central Command executed one of the most powerful bombing raids in the History of the Middle East, and totally obliterated every MILITARY target in Iran’s crown jewel, Kharg Island,” Trump wrote in a Truth Social post on Friday.
“Our Weapons are the most powerful and sophisticated that the World has ever known but, for reasons of decency, I have chosen NOT to wipe out the Oil Infrastructure on the Island.”
Trump warned that he would reconsider his decision to allow the oil infrastructure to remain intact if the Iranian regime or any other country does “anything to interfere with the Free and Safe Passage of Ships through the Strait of Hormuz.”…
