A recent video, purportedly shared by an employee of Zhongmei Toy Factory, a subsidiary of Mattel, suggests that the factory in Foshan City, Guangdong, has halted production, with only a handful of workers remaining to handle post-production tasks.
The footage shows a vast, deserted factory with no one in sight at the entrance. Once bustling with thousands of employees, the nearly 40-year-old toy factory now stands empty, a silent reminder of its former glory.
