Under U.S. Investigation! China’s TP-Link Faces Massive Layoffs, Entire Export Tech Department Cut

On June 14, someone working in IT in Shanghai said that Chinese computer networking technology company TP-Link suddenly laid off its entire Wi-Fi chip team at its office in Zhangjiang Hi-Tech Park. According to Chinese tech news outlets, the layoffs happened very fast. In just half a day, employees were notified and went through the full process of leaving the company. TP-Link hasn’t explained publicly why it did this.
