Since taking office in January 2025, U.S. President Donald Trump has repeatedly raised tariffs on Chinese goods, starting at 20%, then climbing to 34%, 104%, 125%, and eventually 145%. According to the latest White House statement, the highest tariff on Chinese goods now reaches 245%.
