Here are scenes from the streets of Haikou City, Hainan, after the typhoon Yagi. You can see that many of the storefronts have been blown down to their frames, with no roof or doors in sight. The streets are littered with fallen trees, overturned cars, and scattered debris. Even huge trucks, weighing dozens of tons, were flipped over, and factories were left with only skeletal remains. Everywhere you look, it’s a picture of devastation and destruction.
