Trump Says US Might Restart Iran Negotiations ‘At Some Point’

President Donald Trump said on Aug. 19 that the United States might restart negotiations with Iran “at some point” after talks stalled in recent days.
Asked about the possibility of reopening peace talks with Iran on Wednesday, Trump told reporters: “Maybe at some point, but right now, I think the situation is so good. But maybe at some point.”
Trump reiterated his administration’s main sticking point in the negotiation process with Iran that the regime would not be allowed to develop a nuclear weapon. He warned on Wednesday that Iran would use a nuclear weapon if it ever obtained one.
“And we’re not going to let them use it,” he told reporters. “So, Iran cannot have a nuclear weapon, and they won’t.”…
