Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy arrived for a meeting on July 28 with President Donald Trump at the White House, where they are expected to discuss continued support for Ukraine’s defense against Russia.
“Our number-one priority is anti-ballistic defense and strategic cooperation with America,” Zelenskyy said in a July 27 post on X. “Peace needs to be brought closer.”
The Ukrainian president is also in Washington to attend the memorial of late Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.), who passed away on July 11 from a tear in his aorta.
