On August 4, the police reported that in this raid against the Chinese mafia, they conducted surprise searches of hundreds of stores and vehicles, arresting 13 people. The charges included drug trafficking, prostitution, and aggravated robbery. “Aggravated robbery” refers to robbery with specific malicious circumstances.
According to Reuters, Andrea Olivadese, an official responsible for organized crime, mentioned that the raids spanned across 25 provinces, including Milan, Rome, Florence, Prato, and Catania.
