A Chinese-American couple, who had been working in the U.S. for over ten years, were accused of stealing medical research secrets and transferring them to China for profit. Not only did they end up in prison, but the court also ruled that their U.S. citizenship be revoked. This is the first publicly verifiable case of a naturalized Chinese citizen having their citizenship revoked in U.S. history.
