The force said on Thursday the “non-ethnic Chinese” man was apprehended over the burglary at San Fung Avenue in Sheung Shui the previous day.
Officers also recovered some of the stolen goods.
Videos circulating online appear to show four robbers in black shirts and masks grabbing items from displays at the store, with an alarm ringing in the background.
Police launched a manhunt after receiving multiple reports at around 6.30pm on Wednesday.
