As 2025 begins, China’s clothing industry has been hit hard by a wave of tariffs. U.S. President Donald Trump has continued to raise tariffs, and within just a month, tariffs on Chinese goods exported to the U.S. have been increased twice, now reaching 20%. Combined with previous tariffs, the total duty has surged to about 45%.
