On the afternoon of August 1st, a ground collapse occurred near the intersection of Houhu Avenue and Wenbo Road in Jiang’an District, Wuhan. Videos and pictures circulating online show a clear depression and cracks on the road surface in the collapse area, with radial cracks extending around it. The barrier at the entrance of a nearby parking lot is tilted, and a car is trapped in the collapsed area. However, officials have stated that no people or vehicles were damaged.
