Senate HELP Committee Holds Hearing on Benefits for Independent Workers

The Senate Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions Committee holds a hearing titled “Freedom to Work: Unlocking Benefits for Independent Workers” at 10 a.m. ET on July 17.
Witnesses include Patrice Onwuka, director at the Center for Economic Opportunity, Independent Women’s Forum; Kim Kavin, editor at Imagine Media LLC; Kev Coleman, research fellow at the Paragon Health Institute; Timothy J.
