The Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee holds hearings to examine the “Remain in Mexico” policy at 9 a.m. ET on Jan. 16. This will be immediately followed by a business meeting to consider a resolution expressing the Senate’s view that the president has the authority under current law to take necessary action to secure the U.S. southwest border, along with a review of committee rules of procedure.
