Norton Rose Fulbright in global leadership change

Global law firm Norton Rose Fulbright has established a new leadership structure. The firm will be led by global managing partners Jeff Cody, who is also the US managing partner, and Peter Scott, managing partner for Europe, Middle East and Asia (EMEA).

The firm saw 8% growth in global revenue last year and a 5% rise in overall demand for its services. There has been an uptick in “multijurisdictional matters”, across Europe, Africa, the Americas, and Asia Pacific (Apac), according to a company announcement. 

The firm has been growing across corporate, M&A and securities, disputes, investigations, as well as banking and finance; specific sectors include energy, infrastructure, financial institutions, transport, healthcare and life sciences, technology, and consumer markets.

In Apac, the law firm has offices in Bangkok, Beijing, Hong Kong, Jakarta, Shanghai, Singapore and Tokyo, according to its website. Also in the region it has ‘regional practices’ in India, South Korea, Pakistan and Vietnam.

The firm has had 51 lateral partners join in the first six months of 2024, including 22 in the US.
