Tickets for National Games events, including those held in Hong Kong, went on sale on Thursday morning, but the Post found that the online purchasing system did not offer an English-language interface.

A Post reporter also visited a designated outlet in Causeway Bay and spotted a small group of residents gathered there to buy tickets.
The first round of ticket sales for the 15th National Games and National Games for Persons with Disabilities began at 10am, available through the online portal and at 11 branches of China Travel Service (Hong Kong).
The four events scheduled to take place in Hong Kong this November are beach volleyball, men’s handball, men’s U22 basketball and rugby sevens. Tickets are also available for 13 events hosted in Guangdong province.

At the Causeway Bay branch, Allen Liu was among those queuing up for tickets. The 25-year-old clerk said he was planning to buy rugby sevens tickets for himself and his family.
