Mass Anti-China Protests Erupt in Korea Again, Chinese Embassy Warns Locals: ‘Don’t Anger Koreans!’

The Chinese Embassy abroad is known for being tough and domineering, but recently, it’s been unusually cautious in South Korea.
On the afternoon of September 28, a large-scale protest erupted in Seoul, where several conservative groups gathered in front of Seoul Station, marching towards Namdaemun. Among the banners, shocking slogans like “Heaven will destroy the CCP” appeared. In response, the Chinese Embassy issued a rare warning to Chinese nationals in the area, advising them not to provoke the South Koreans.
