A Malaysian man who informed his wife that he was on a business trip with colleagues was discovered to be stranded with his mistress amid severe floods in Thailand.
Heavy flooding, triggered by torrential rains, has struck southern Thailand, claiming over 80 lives and affecting three million people across 12 provinces, including Hat Yai, the largest city in southern Thailand.
On November 24, a Malaysian woman, who had been sharing rescue updates in Hat Yai, posted that a distressed Malaysian wife sought her assistance to locate her husband, who she believed was trapped in the city with his colleagues.

She mentioned that their young children were anxiously awaiting their father’s return.

The woman, known by the handle @psmommyhannah, enlisted the help of her relatives living in the city to search for the man at the hotel where he was supposedly staying.
To their shock, they discovered that the man’s “colleagues” were, in fact, a woman who had been sharing the hotel room with him for the past four days.

The poster revealed that she had not yet broken the news to the wife, who is pregnant with their fourth child.
She stated that her intention in sharing the story was not to seek attention but to remind wives to “be cautious and not trust our husbands too much.”
