Vice President JD Vance is set to publish a new book this spring that explores his personal faith journey and conversion to Catholicism.
Titled “Communion: Finding My Way Back to Faith,” the book will be released on June 16 through HarperCollins, the same publisher behind Vance’s bestselling memoir, “Hillbilly Elegy.”
In that earlier work, he chronicled his upbringing in Appalachia and his relationship with his wife, Second Lady Usha Vance.
In a statement, Vance reflected on the themes of his upcoming book, describing it as a deeply personal account of losing and rediscovering faith.
“The story of how I regained my faith only makes sense because I had lost it,” he said, adding that the book wrestles with why his early religious foundation failed to take hold and what ultimately led him back….
