Hong Kong police arrest 2 more suspects in Yuen Long knife attack

Hong Kong police have arrested two more people in connection with a knife attack in Yuen Long that left one man dead and another injured, bringing the total number of those apprehended to six.

The force announced the fresh arrests in a Facebook post on Friday, giving no further details on the pair’s identities or the circumstances behind their detention.

The two men, aged 26 and 23, are alleged members of a local triad group and are employed as construction workers, the Post has learned.

A source said the pair did not have previous conviction records.

Four other people have already been arrested. On Wednesday, two men, aged 27 and 29, were captured in Tuen Mun and at the city’s airport, respectively.
