Police said they arrested the suspects, aged 52 and 45, on New Year’s Eve following an extensive investigation that led officers to uncover a drug storage operation in a commercial building in Tai Kok Tsui.
Senior Inspector Jacky Liong Chun-hin of the force’s narcotics bureau said on Wednesday that officers apprehended the elder brother as he left the premises in the afternoon.
A search of the unit yielded about 19kg of suspected methamphetamine, or Ice.
Police subsequently arrested the younger brother, who was driving a van near the building, and seized an additional 2kg of Ice and one litre of the drug in liquid form.

The brothers, who worked as a security guard and delivery driver respectively, were said to have been recruited by a drug syndicate to receive and manage shipments from the US.
