Hong Kong authorities are hunting for a suspect who injured two customs officers with a knife during an anti-narcotics raid at a flat in To Kwa Wan on Thursday evening.

A police source said seven officers from the Customs and Excise Department were raiding a flat in Honour Building on To Kwa Wan Road in connection with narcotics-related activities.
The suspect allegedly attacked two of the officers with a knife, injuring their arms and legs, the insider said, adding that another officer sustained a leg injury while responding to the situation.
The suspect then locked the flat door to prevent customs officers from inside, the source said.
The insider added that police reinforcements had rushed to the scene and forcibly entered the flat, only to discover that the suspect had already fled.

A manhunt is currently under way.
