Global Boycotts of Chinese EVs: Despite Deep Discounts in China, They Remain Unsold, Piling Up

China’s electric vehicle market is struggling with overproduction and difficulty selling cars. In response, Chinese manufacturers are trying to increase exports to address the issue. However, data from the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers on July 10 shows that China exported 86,000 electric vehicles in June, a 13.2% drop from the previous month. This marks the third consecutive month of declining exports since March. This trend indicates growing resistance in Europe, which has significantly raised import tariffs on Chinese electric vehicles.
