Canine cop, Fuzai was born on August 28, 2023 and joined the police dog training base in Weifang, Shandong province, in northern China.

The dog began its job as a reserve explosives-detection operative in January 2024 as a four-month-old puppy.

By March the same year, Fuzai had become an internet sensation, captivating netizens with its smile, short legs, and remarkable explosive-detection skills.

It was donated to the police dog training base after its original owner took it to a park at two months old, where its potential was recognised by Zhao Qingshuai, a police dog trainer at the dog base of Changle County Public Security Bureau.
