FBI Director Kash Patel defended himself when confronted by Sen. Peter Welch (D-Vt.) about a trip Patel took to Las Vegas on an agency plane.
Welch asked whether Patel had attended an Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) match in Vegas with actor Mel Gibson.
“Is that you?” he asked, pointing to a picture of Patel with Gibson. The Vermont senator noted that Patel drew comparisons to his predecessor’s use of the FBI jet.
“Yeah, you want to know the difference?” Patel asked….
