Previously, starting on June 23, the Ecuadorian Navy, along with the US, Canada, South Korea, Italy, Spain, Colombia, and Peru, conducted 16 days of intensive drills, preparing to intercept and board fishing boats, with a clear focus on Chinese vessels.
